Simple Things

A simple verse or two, written just for you.
Nothing fancy, no big words used,
to say I love you, that is true.

Look into my heart and you will see
smiles, songs to sing, rainbows after the rain,
all these gifts you bring to me.

Simple joys and pleasures
I wish the world could feel,
there just for me to treasure.

One last thing I need to say,
thank you for these ordinary things,
gifts of love that complete my rose bouquet.

    It is the simple things that give us the most pleasure. Sometimes people are blinded to them...Until they have lost what they love.
