Last Poem I Am Wasting On You

by Nawa   Mar 19, 2009

Letting you go did not mean that I have moved on
For I still think about almost all of the time
And I would like you to know that when I find that I miss you so
I run to that place again..

Where the sun shines on meadows of green
And the flowers reflect colors on rainbows
While the birds sing to compliment the atmosphere
The place where time does not exist and clocks do not tick..
Where the wind swifts tenderly and caress my skin
And I would like to believe that it is you
Thinking of me too,
Wanting to hold me close and feel my heart beat racing to your touch..

And so I chase the wind and let it lead; dancing with you like we never did
Pappus and white roses adorn the scene flying and glancing along our waltz
As you sway me around like a butterfly then hold me back and breathe me in
Oh how much I love you!

It is like you never left, like I have always been there
And we finally have what we both were looking for
In my little magical fairy world of Neverland..
Against all odds, against them all, this is where we belong
This is where I never have to pretend that my heart is no longer yours..

And so now that you have been in wrong in all that you are blaming me for,
I would like you to know one last thing, that even though my love will never end
But this is the last poem that I am wasting on you.

Loved the title, and how it connected to the ending. Maybe you chould change the stanzas around next time so it's a little easier to follow? Besides that, I thought you did a brilliant job. I really like your choice of words, and how you put things. 5/5!
