Today is your special day,
Lets celebrate with cheer,
For now you have officially survived,
Another faithful year.
Smile now with glee,
Laugh and let your happiness show,
For today is your shining moment,
You are the star that will glow.
I love you with all my heart,
Because you are..
My Hero,
My friend,
My mommy till the end,
And I wouldn't spend my time any other way,
Then to rejoice with sweets and fun,
Celebrating your Birthday!!

    What a lovely birthday dedication to your mum here. Lovely to read not least because such merriment is often hard to find in poetry!

      Although it was long ago I do remember writing this one and giving it to my mom for her birthday. A wonderful memory :)
