    Sylvia,
First thank you for participating in the challenge. You have pulled this off and with the song choice that you had it was a beautiful touch. It was beautiful. Great Job.

    Take Care,

    Open your eyes my love.
don't be sad, I must go.
    You must believe that
we will be together once more
in the blue of the evening.

This is definatly a beautiful poem, not a question about it.. I loved the repetitiveness of "in the blue of the evening" it really worked well with the poem. I loved it..

    Well done!

    Sylvia
    What a beautiful poem.

    Together at midnight,
    beneath the sky,
    winds whispering softly,
    dreams do come true,
in the blue of the evening.

I love this stanza. It is like closing your eyes and the one you love is there with you once again. The winds whispering words of love.

    Open your eyes my love.
don't be sad, I must go.
    You must believe that
we will be together once more
in the blue of the evening.

The sadness when you know the dream was that just a dream....and once more you are left standing alone....but still with that little bit of hope that soon you won't have to part again.
    Great job!
    ((Hugs))

To me it was like a song, loved the way you repeated title and the twist that you added

    Open your eyes my love.
don't be sad, I must go.
    You must believe that
we will be together once more
in the blue of the evening

    beautiful one.

all the best and take care

A beautiful, moving poem, Sylvia. A romantic ode to eternal, timeless love. Brought images up in my mind.
