Perfection.

by Mushh   Mar 20, 2009

It's dark and cold,
I can't feel my face,
My body is twisted,
My hair feels like lace.

My skin is all blotchy,
My arms full of scars,
My breasts are too small,
And my thighs are too large.

My eyes far apart,
And my forehead sticks out,
I want a new nose,
And i don't like my mouth.

My legs are too short,
My neck is too long,
My teeth are not white,
And i have a strange tongue.

I try to be perfect,
It just doesn't work,
I like to play vane,
With high shoes & skirts.

I put others down,
To make myself smile,
Lie to myself,
& live side denial.

I can't look in the mirror
As my skin I won't wear.
Outside and in,
The ugly is there.

Makeup, a mask,
To hide who you are,
To make you feel pretty,
And cover the scars.

But wipe it all off,
And you'll see it's pretend,
Deep down inside,
You're broken, you're dead.

This flow'd really nice and i liked the idea behind it. but don't get down. nobody is perfect, and we must all live with our inperfections.

    well done, ~Ben
