Perpetuated Love

by Soulful Ensemble   Mar 22, 2009

Sweet morning dew
Oh, how I love you.
My daily life is new
As I sit and look at you.

My heart spins and flies
Like twisted dreams,
But you never say goodbye
Like hot summer streams.

The night must come, I know,
Eventually.
Will you hold my hand thats numb
And kiss it soft, perpetually?

I love you like sunny mornings
Which bring chirping Blue Jays,
Singing by the window-- warning
That some hearts are made of clay.

The breeze in the afternoon
As the sun is going down
Reminds me of a rose that blooms
From every side of town.

Your smile kills every frown
With the nurturing side of life;
That makes sadness drown
Deep in nature's strife.

Each new day I see you more
In my mind or by the door
As I come home to realize
I'm always looking in you eyes.

I'm seeing you outside
Beneath the moon.
Wishful thinking on my side
While sitting lonely on a stool.

Many thoughts of you run
and I hear your voice
Your pretty name comes
And my mind can now rejoice.

Your prescense radiates through me
And it fits me like a glove
With the energy of eternal glee
I feel perpetually loved.
