Deja Vu

by Beautiful Chaos   Mar 26, 2009

Though we've just met
I feel I have known you before
Some time long ago
Deep in the recesses of my mind
Your smokey gaze,
Dark chocolate eyes
Thick black lashes
Some mystery behind your beauty

Lips the colour of blush wine
How sweet they would be to drink from
So intoxicating
Alluring
This sense of deja vu
So comforting yet haunting
So familiar but forgotten

A soft hand to your cheek
Brushing away the memories locked inside
As you pass me by in the street
Lost in this sea of human waste
I wonder if I shall ever see you again....
