As opportunity knocks
whose there to listen?
as love fades
whose there to grasp it?
what is written
is never read
what is spoken
is never heard
these are actions that stimulate thought
these are actions that state truth
what is truth?
is it words one speak
what is lies?
is it the disappointment in ones eyes
what is beauty?
is it truth, is it a feeling or a reaccurance of an image in ones mind
now i ask you this
what is poetry but words spoken?
or is there truth to the lies we see
or is it the actions we state
is it the feeling of the crowd
or is it that we speak you listen & the blinds over our eyes begin to rise
we begin to see then truth begins
