I wake up to the sound of ice
I feel sadness in my gray life.
Clouds grow clear
As rain streams through
My world is so black without you.

This captured my attention and sets the tone
The subtle rhyme scheme is perfect for my taste

I feel anger as the sky shakes
I'm tired of living a life so fake
Thunder strikes and I'm too scared
Lightening breaks my heart
As I crumble inside myself and fall apart.
Hail falls to the damp ground

Now the passion and emotion is bursting through

As I try to scratch my way out.
For this pain has trapped me underneath
I feel so misplaced
Waiting for the weather to change....

The storm climaxes and we are left with the hope of a silver lining
I am impressed with the entire poem

I really enjoyed the symbolism you used to show how you deal with your own personal thunderstorm. the relation is something that we can all relate to, and the imagery gave it a very poetic feel.
