Whisper

by NineteenMinutes   Mar 27, 2009

Tell me a secret, go on and don't lie,
Tell me a secret while you look me in the eye,
Tell me about her the one you chose over me,
About her pretty face that you chose to see,
Instead of me you chose her for the taking,
And you expect to leave me here heart breaking,
How could you do this to me? I never could you,
You told me you loved me and I believed it was true,
When all along you were playing me does she know I'm alive?
The girl who you run from, from which you skive,
When you weren't with me were you with her?
Forget I asked that, I don't really care,
I thought it was only me that was what you said,
I thought our relationship was strong but it was all in my head,
So tell me a secret that I do not know,
You can't sink any further you've already sunk low,
So whisper in my ear sweet nothings like you do her,
But when you are here I bet you wish you were there,
Leave, get out, and never return,
Why do I love you? I just never learn.
