Finding Yourself

by Love is a Beautiful Thing   Mar 27, 2009

Here alone I stand,
With no one by my side;
So holding no one's hand,
Myself I must find;

Now as I set out,
Wondering down an open road;
Myself I start to doubt,
As I carry this heavy load;

I realize I am lost,
But not a soul is near;
What will it cost,
To get rid of all this fear;

Now I am alone,
As I drop down on my knees;
I asked if he would call me his own,
Saying " Please God, Please";

He shows me who I am,
He took His time to bother;
Then on me He placed His hand,
So I give praise to the one and only Father;

    Good poem about self-realisation, never forgetting that God is in control. a reminder that we are nothing without him.
