And the Giraffe Fell For the Turtle.

by Thepainwithinme   Mar 29, 2009

There was once a boy, We'll call him Turtle.
And he knew a girl, She'll be the Giraffe.
She had all her feelings stuck in a bottle.
And he was the only one, who could make her laugh.

This Turtle was different, the opposite of the girl.
But she felt a connection, so she gave it a whirl.
People warned her, saying he is not the one.
But after their first kiss, her battles were won.

Their opinions didn't matter, it's a scientific fact.
That like charges repel, but unlike charges attract.
So they're not perfect, and they may argue.
But they know they love each other, from the loving things they do.

The Turtle and the giraffe, have many obstacles to face.
But they have their whole lives fto win, this is not a race.
He makes her heart beat, it's never gone so fast.
He tells her how he wants this to last.

So, others may not like, but is that really what matters?
They'll climb without them, up these broken ladders.
Inching closer to heaven, and further from hell.
And for the Giraffe, the Turtle fell.
