Ingrid, i totally love the form and the way you wrote it was marvelous.Well certainly in this plastic world, everyone aims for perfection, not realizing the beauty of one's flaws and how unique each and everyone of us are.

    Excellent Job

Words of wisdom that are so true. Beauty is within, if only people would believe that. Good job. 5/5

A really strong message.. I wont repeat what the two have said above me.. because I dont feel its necessary for you to hear it again, lol. I agree with them, this was a very strong message, and the real truth about this world. Everyone striving for perfection, and constantly changing themselves..

    An interesting form, as well...

    Good job.
    5/5.

A powerful message you have portrayed, your words told the true about the earth, everyone trying their hardest to be perfect, changing who they truly are. Beautiful write, very though-provoking and the form was a excellent one too!

God Bless You And Take Care!

I understand where you are coming from with this, the media push Hollywood as the truly desirable and you have made an excellent point. But I believe there is still pureness and sincerity today, unfortunately it isn't deemed newsworthy.

    Hello Ingrid,

I thought I would drift back to this Triolet

This form is difficult to pull off and I found it a challenge for my recent attempt.

    Plastic world ( Triolet )

Silicone beauties, painted smiles and fake personalities
    ^
This line speaks to me of superficial society and the brainwashed girls/ ladies that try to conform to social norms.
Is there any sincerity and pureness left today?
    ^
A good question, leading to the next line...
Why shouldn't there be room for abnormalities?
...another question. Challenging those that ridicule those that do not fit into the 'norm'
Silicone beauties, painted smiles and fake personalities
    ^
The repeated line brings this reader back to the point in question. Why conform? Why not accept difference instead?
What about diversity and natural beauties?
Please be yourself, I prefer authenticity any day
    ^
I like this statement - urging to love the person you are and what other people are inside and out.

Silicone beauties, painted smiles and fake personalities
Is there any sincerity and pureness left today?
    ^
Leaving the reader with this rhetorical question is like a reverberating gong driving home a this message.

    Excellent message delivered here.

    (((hugs)))

Well said Ingrid! I so hate those plastic people pushing themselves onto our screens every minute of every day. Faces dripping with thick makeup and false smiles, emitting insincerity.
Let's get back to real people again.
I like what you have penned here Ingrid, and agree wholeheartedly with what you say.

"What about diversity and natural beauties" - I echo that sentiment. The rubbish that's thrown our way these days and accepted as "the norm" makes me so angry, especially as I have a seven year old girl. I will do everything I can to protect her from this kind of false idea of womanhood.
An important write and in form too - well done, Ingrid.
    All the best
