Guide Me Through Today

Oh Lord, come to my aid,
I need your guidance,
Or I wont make it through this day.

I'm going through hardships,
Rejection and delays.
Come and guide me,
Guide me through today.

What is the meaning
Of Life and Man?
Why are we here?
I dont understand.
Who am I on this earth?
Whats my plan?

To make war cease,
Or to bring world peace.

To love the good and the bad,
And to empathize the sad.

To believe in things,
That most dont understand.
Give me some help, Lord.
Give me a hand.

Mold me, Oh God.
For I am putty in your palm.
I could be like the breeze,
That urges the storms to calm.

You could make me vigorous,
Mighty as thunder.
Or let me be desolate,
And give me this world to wander.

I just want a purpose!
A reason to open my eyes,
To open my ears and my heart.
And to find truth within the lies.

Just to take away the pain.

Confusion and much change.
