trying to put a smile on your face
to ease the pain that i've caused
to repay for your sweet embrace
we tried to fix us so many times
so many times we failed
hurting ourselves was our crime
and now in our feelings we've been jailed
i'm sorry i can't be your baby anymore
i'm grateful for all the things you've done
i'm sorry my heart totally broke
and now a new love has just begun
i just want you to know that it was really true
even if we may not want the ending between us
but the sparks really existed between me and you
but now they're gone, all gone to dust
now i bid goodbye, hope we'll move on soon
i know it's hard to forget but at least let's try
i'll surely miss our dates under the moon
