Don't Worry Baby

by BornAgainWriter   Apr 1, 2009

You played it all this time, thought you had it right,
Leaving me alone at home late at night, wondering;
About you and I, something just needs to happen,
Because we're fighting with each other everyday.

Baby, you don't have to worry about me,
Why are you trying to cover it up? Why oh why?
And when I call you act like you don't want to talk,
Brushing me off and dismissing my thoughts.

You stayed out all night playing games with your boys,
Couldn't even invite me, for some odd reason,
Baby, I don't even want to know why either,
Because, you don't have to worry about me.

You said you loved me, and I believed it all the time,
Sometimes love is blind and we just don't see it;
We don't see the love other people are showing us,
But that's my excuse, it's not yours, find your own.

Baby, you don't have to worry about me,
Why are you trying to cover it up? Why oh why?
And when I call you act like you don't want to talk,
Brushing me off and dismissing my thoughts.

Don't get upset when the hand of cards flip,
facing you, and it's me doing all the same stuff,
I bet you didn't know, that I talk to many dudes,
And they all want me, like I thought you did once.
