Forget you

I will be okay,
I smile and tell my self "go day by day".

I see your face everywhere,
I'm not lieing, I swear.

We told eachother, we'd see how we felt,
So i looked over our love, thought i had dealt.

Said we'd try and be friends, hopefully in time.
Didn't think I'd still want you to be mine.

Thought i was getting over you,
thought it was done and through.

But then i saw her name, right beside yours,
saw your smiles, and it reopened my sores.

Didn't think you'd move on so fast,
didn't think I'd be forgotten in the past.

You try to contact me, to see if I'm okay,
but I can't see you, my feelings will go astray.

Trying to keep my emotions under lock and key,
don't want you to give that sad look to me.

You ask if i have forgotten you,
If only i could find that clue.

Forgetting you,
would be like saying the sky isn't blue...
