Cross my heart, hope to die

Cross my heart
hope to die
stick a needle
in my eye

feel no sorrow
feel no pain
people standing
in the rain

friends and family
passing by
no one thought
i'd want to die

scars covered
by long sleeve shirts
this was the very least
of her hurt

slit my wrists
cry these tears
drown away
all my fears

dying slowly
deep inside
all these years
i tried to hide

tear my heart
from my chest
kill my soul
let it rest

all this time
i remained strong
no one knew
something was wrong

wipe my tears
from my eyes
cross my heart
and hope to die.

    Naww i really liked this poem, i like the rymning and the flow as well as just the whole poem was great even though its sad it was written really emotionally which is good.

    Ive gotta say i like the "let it rest" better then forget the rest, but its a good poem.
