Softly Leaving

by dontlookpassmytears   Apr 3, 2009

Her childhood was a world of pain
Nothing was different, yet the same
wish for sunshine, get nothing but rain
Always the same, Always the same

Such a sad life for a young child
Trying to reach her point through a crowd
To give up completely and howl
Throw in the towel, throw in the towel

A world that had grown to be cold
No ones hand in her life to hold
A life that wasn't never ever told
Went threw her soul, went threw her soul

Her hand softly swiped her eyes
Even still she continue to cry
Tears went on as hours went by
Wanting to die, wanting to die

What was she doing to her life?
Her only best friend was a knife
Just in a roll of a small dice
She didn't think twice, she didn't think twice.

Mom came in and saw the bleeding
Fading as her mom was speaking
Clothing her wrist to stop the bleeding
Softly leaving, softly leaving.

Another amazing poem! I loved it how you finished every part of the poem with repeating the same line.. But at times i can feel that your rhymes were a little forced..
