Where Have We Gone

by marilyn marti   Apr 3, 2009

Your words are becoming sour, just like your tongue
I think I've reached the point, I have to start to run
Our castle has crashed down now, it's getting cold
The things you used to say are long gone, they're old
My heart is filled with venom, I'm sorry if it hurts
I never meant to fall out, just tell me who falls first?
Let's stop this masquerade, reveal yourself to me
I can't tell who you are, I forgot who you used to be
Destruction has caught up with us, where do we go?
If there's a way to fix this, please let me know
I'm counting stars alone again, now I start to cry
Just let my soul be whole again, or else I'd rather die
