Finally Notice

by iFallToPieces   Apr 5, 2009

She's kept her secrets hidden,
Hidden for too long,
Only thing left to do,
Is prove them all wrong.

She'll prove to them, she's fine,
Nothing to worry about at all.
No one will even notice,
When that smile begins to fall.

She'll pretend to be happy,
Hides every thing inside.
No one will know,
That she's planning suicide.

Everyone will begin to believe,
That she is as happy as can be.
No one would ever think,
That she really wants to leave.

She'll hide it from loved ones,
And people that care,
Never believing,
That if she falls they'll be there,

She finds it hard to trust,
A lot of people seem to lie.
No one can know,
That deep down she wishes to die.

They will only know the truth,
If they look deep in her eyes,
Hidden beneath the smile,
You will see how much she cries.

You will see how much she hurts,
And how many lies she's been told,
You would finally notice,
How much she's lost control.

You will finally see
How much she wishes to die.
And how many chances,
She's had to say goodbye.

One night when you see her,
She'll be lying on her bed,
With blood dripping down her arm,
You'll notice she's dead.

Very touching, moving poem. I loved everything about it ..the opening lines,,the ending (though sad), telling just how helpless, someone who feels like this can be. LOL.(Espec liked the 7th verse.. the truth being deep in her eyes). Take care again, Olwin. LOL

Every time when i read your poem I was hoping for someting non suicidal, but looks like this just adds to your list of suicidal poems. Well certainly you have compose this poem well and had a clear story line of how you want to start it and end it. I think the last stanza was done nicely to wrap up the poem.

Well again if you need someone to talk to just PM ok

    Great Job for the poem
