Nothing is ever certain and you are correct in that only God is eternal. Good job and congratulations on number 300. Well done. 5/5

Another great form and poem full of truth and meaning. I'm guessing your inspiration was the quote. It always intrigues me as to what inspires people to write.. I'm glad to see a quote inspired you to write this. I noticed as well that you had reached the 300th mark, keep writing and dont ever stop.

    Good job.

    5/5.

What a way to mark your 300th poem. I like how you use the form and twist it with your own words. It's incredible how so little words can have the power to bring the msg across.

    Ever changing world,
    always renewing itself.
    Certainties just illusions.
^^^ You have a nice and strong opening here. I like how you penned it down. The world is forever progress to get better and better. I like how you phrase the 3rd line... we just make believe what we want to believe

    "Lovers forever",
    a contradiction in terms:
    only God is eternal.

^^^ You have got a point here...I like how you presented the contradiction.Though I think when we say lovers forever we usually meant til our time is up just like when we say 'give me a sec' ... it doesn't really literally means just a sec ... it may take a few mins...Things like that are also contradictions in our life but generally we all know what it means.

Overall, this I'm really impressed with your 300th poem. This poem sure deserve a nomination from me.Keep it up

    Excellent Job

A very intelligent and perceptive poem that reminded me of Buddhist philosophy - The only constant is change. The person who wrote the poem is not the same person that may read this. And the line concerning romantic love being eternal is so truthful it's beautiful.

What a beautiful write for your 300th poem.
I love a good sedoka, its probably my favourite form of short poetry.
This was great.. and i love how you posted the quote from which you got your inspiration, i like seeing what helped to create a good poem.
Really nice work with this Ingrid, the whole love isnt forever thing, although its a bit of a sad wake up call to read, is quite true.

    ""Lovers forever",
    a contradiction in terms:
only God is eternal." This is so true my dear friend, but still this term is like a booster, we need it to keep believeing that the love we shared with someone, and the love we get back in return, these feelings give strong beliefs that it will be forever. 5/5, love your words as usual, kel.
