It hurts to look into your eyes
To see her face, to see your smile
I can't even digest the thoughts
Of her hand in yours
Her kiss on your lips
To see her in your eyes
Kills me inside, tears me apart
You come to me, for comfort, advice
I look down, speak softly, keep you out of my mind
I respond as if I'm ok
Truth is, I go home, and cry my pain away
You ask me what you should do
To stop your cutting, to stop hers too
I sit, and shake as I try to help
I offer up other alternatives, but I'm a hypicrit
When you are not around
When it's her that you go see
I lie awake in bed
I watch myself bleed
I can't close my eyes without seeing your face
I can't look at you, without seeing her in your embrace
So you come to me as always
You sit there and ask away
You don't realize that by doing this
You're driving me insane
It's as if you're handing me the blade
Telling me to go for it
Because you don't watch what you say
"I can't wait til Saturday, I love her,"
What happened to loving me?
You told me once, you tell me now
You say you still care
But if you truely did, you'd be here not over there...
So I look away when you look me in the eyes
Because to see her in your gaze
Hurts me more and more each day....
