Attention Deficit

by adroit   Apr 7, 2009

Thoughts mercilessly attacking thoughts
immeasurably insistent, favoritism
wins out among the brain cells
it's not a democracy but a pageant
only the fairest ideas and inklings meant to exist
on this shallow but never ending plain
dullness overshadowed in the brightness of
the golden, ornate thoughts
boredom never conquers in the existence of this reality
ear drums don't respond when zzz's are in order

I love the imagery around the brain and not just the emotion.. that was a great idea! ...seems un-finished though... it left me hanging for the ending... 5/5 for the writing talent though!
