No Man's Land

by Bhavin   Apr 8, 2009

Sounds of feuds, battle inside my mind
As I seek a shelter and a sense of tranquility
Countless emotions, I frantically unwind
Alas! I fight a lost battle to gain serenity.

In hunt for support, to win the missing trusts
I gamble out of luck with some harsh ploys
Feeling crumbled, as a dilapidated iron rusts
All my conscience screams is a defeated voice.

Compelled to live with tears and silent outbursts
I carry the 'loser' tag with plethora, as a brand
With none to support and safeguard my interests
I feel as a war-torn refugee on a no man's land.

Finally... My 50th poem... Thanks a ton to every reader and voter. You deserve the same ovation that I have got.

Well written, and as usual you poured out such sadness that plays with the emotion. Our life is what we made it to be. If we can't find joy is small things , then we will always be in the darkness. "Compelled to live with tears and silent outbursts
