Monstrosity

by Jessica   Apr 8, 2009

Delusive men possessing lust
fill victims with abysmal trust
like ruthless hunters they enmesh
corrupt the very purest flesh

Those filthy hands continue on
proceed until each breath is gone
the shining light that filled their eyes
abolished in such cruel demise

While vile demon's fall asleep
a conscience is but hidden deep
what once was whole is now debris
not thought of as anatomy

But skillful eyes observe their task
unveil each guilty hidden mask
expose the thieves horrendous crime
imprison them with endless time

Seclusion at it's very best
affects the mind, it's state of rest
so here's to hoping they will see
the monsters they have come to be.

Excellent write...I sense there is a meaning beyond the words, hidden but there to dig for..love it! Your rhyming is great!
