Make it to the Top

I keep searching but
I'm not finding

I keep climbing but I
keep falling

Its a problem of not being
consistent that will lead me
to the end of my existence

It doesn't matter if I aim high
I always stumble and I cant find the
reason why

I am a man of vision but somewhere along
the way I always make a wrong decision

I want this to stop and I hope that one
day I will make it to the top

By leaving my failures behind me
and not letting my thoughts
surpass me

But to focus and the road ahead of me
and to get to the top no matter
what it takes

Because my past is now behind me
and I will make it, for goodness sake
