I dont deserve this

I didn't deserve you to leave me on my front porch to cry,
Or say you don't love me anymore, and I foolishly ask why.

How naive am I to let you in, and you not give back the same,
I wish I never walked over to you, and told you my name

My hurt, I can't explain im sure one day it will go away,
But the days are gone of me being here, and asking you to stay,

So when you have an emptiness in your heart, turn no more to me,
Because after I empty my closets of hurt, I then will be able to see.

Some things in life you have a choice, like a choice to let me go,
I promise you when I heal myself, this pain you'll get to know,

My love has turned to anger, and my rage is all too real,
Maybe it's just enough to cover this numbness that I feel.

I truly loved you; you were the one I always waited for,
You slowly sucked me in - you gave less and I gave more

After I have moved on from this, and reach my happiness,
You will always look back me, and see a life that you missed.

No more will you hurt me, or ever again walk through my door,
I will no longer be second to anyone, or the one you ignore,

Sad and foolish that you think; my life you can rip right through
My hearts table has been wiped clean, and my life I start anew.
