Airports

by StandStill   Apr 15, 2009

And like an airplane
that could take me far from here
I crash.
The concrete may embrace me
so that I kiss every foot to touch the earth.
Do I show you my humility?
Can you hear the song
of my maturity?
Oh!
No?
Well, let me slam again
and push the reverberations towards you.
I can play the dog for you;
please, smack me to submission.
My mental bruises
are not dark enough
for the world to see.
Can you hit me once again?
Please, God,
I beg you to just
slap me
silly
so that I may giggle myself
into a tizzy.
If airplanes can get high
tell me, tell me,
why can't I?

*so bite me, everyone*
