Glorious Spring

by Rachel RTVW   Apr 16, 2009

The sun peers in my window
Cardinals in the pines
Sing the song of springtime
Morning glories grow on vines

Nature at my doorstep
Squirrels burying their find
Blue jays in the bushes
Noises I don't mind

Chipmunks frolic in the warmth
For spring has now arrived
Perennials bloom once again
Through winter have survived

The forest busy at last
Animals wake from hibernation
All the birds returning home
From their long migration

So many fragrances to smell
Feel the gentle breeze
Touch the many blossoms
See nature change the trees
Glorious Spring!

It took way too long to get here, spring finds ways of being so elusive. You did a great job here and the imagery was good and words placed just right to give us the glimses into what spring means to you and to most of us. Hope you like summer as well. peace
