Hey, I must say I felt the same way when I was supposed to switch between grade and high school, but don't be so worried about, it ain't such a big change, you'll still have your friends, wouldn't you?
Hehe, this reminds me, my friends made me choose German over French(and I hate German) language to study it, just so we could be in the same classes most of the time...lol...so it kinda worked out for me, so it will surely be easy for you too :)
