What will she have?

I want to know what she will have
That I possibly couldnt give
Can we take a stroll down memory lane?
Theres nights I want to relive

That first kiss that made my stomach turn
It was June, a starry night
Was it unexpected or distastful?
Please tell me, did I do it right?

Those moments I tried so very hard
To make you feel like you're the best
Was it over done or too much?
Could you not handle what I expressed?

Those movie nights and dinner dates
What exactly did they mean?
I thought they were perfect
Were they not what they seemed?

I love you so much
I know to some its not real
I'm trying to understand their thoughts
On its just the way puppy love makes you feel

But I cant comprehend this all
No I just can't get it through my head
Two years of pure innocence
Is now buried and dead

The next girl that comes along
Will she do something different than I?
How will she kiss you?
Will it give you butterflies?

Would she go out of her way
To make you feel good inside?
Would she have the same dreams as me?
Wanting to be your world, your bride?

I just don't know if I can take it
Not knowing if we were meant to be
Not knowing who your next girl is
Confused how she'll be better than me

    I loved this poem..it was beautiful written and truly captured the essence of the first lost love..that we all havetoo experience at one point in our life..

    I ecpesially loved the ending:

    "I just don't know if I can take it
    Not knowing if we were meant to be
    Not knowing who your next girl is
    Confused how she'll be better than me"

    This part took up an interesting question..one doesn`t always move on to better things, and sometimes we regret our choices..

    Great job..keep it up ;)

    Chels I feel for you hunny. First love is so hard and it feels as though everything is crashing down on you. I've lived those days too hun ... and they are not one bit fun.
    Time will help hun ... I can't say time heals ll because I know for fact now that it really truly doesn't ... but it sure makes things much easier.

    If he is the right one Chels ... you will both find your way back to each other.

    Stay strong AID .... and if ya need to talk, I am always here for ya Muahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
