RIP, victims of the Holocaust ( Epitaph)

RIP, victims of the Holocaust

Here, in this mass grave, lie the victims of one insane man.
As an atrocious example of the consequences of an evil plan.
When we give authority and responsibility to one who says he can
make the world a better place once it gets rid of the inferior kind of man.
Millions die as a result of a man fighting his own shadow in one life span.

This was a personal challenge from my friend Temps.

Epitaph
An epitaph is a brief poem inscribed on a tombstone praising a deceased person, usually with rhyming lines.

Almost six million people died as a result of the Holocaust, which took place during World War II and was lead by Adolf Hitler. One of my friends has studied this subject for almost 30 years and found out that the characteristics Hitler hated most ( homosexuality, Jewish background) were his. He was known for his preference for men ( in the elite German circle he moved around in during his life) and was part Jew himself. So, in a way he made millions of people suffer for fighting his own shadow. His victims were spread over many countries on the European continent.

Yes, it was a very callous act by a deranged man. What gets me fuming is the few that denied that this ever happened. You've done a good job with this piece and thanks for keeping the memories of this madness alive and fresh in the minds of all mankind.
    Great job.
