my soul is a song
my feelings are to deep
my love is to strong
don't ever let me fade
in your heart is where i must stay
till one day we see each other again
i will show you the way
not into your heart but into mine
because its where you will be
till the end of time
this is not a love poem for you
its just to remind you my love is true
if one day you are sad
know i can make you happy
if one day you are mad
know i can make you glad
if one day your upset
look into my eyes and place your bet
if one day you find yourself alone
look up in the stars and think of a song
i will sing for you
when you are feeling blue
i wont ever give up
until my life is through

if far down the road
you find yourself wondering
know that i am too
you maybe have a man,
i maybe have a girl
even though you were my first
and to me you are the world
never give up never surrender

i cry at night not because your not by my side
but because i cant see the morning light
explode on your face
i dream about that special place
where we said we go to be
maybe one day we will get to see
ill be standing tall
and you will have it all
you'll be in white
ill be in blue

i kept writing whats in my heart
i tried to make it rhyme from the start
but i guess here is where we depart
i wont say goodbye or goodnight
until that day your by my side
you might say I'm obsessed
i say i want the best
who wouldn't want a perfect girl
to be in their life
even if you say no
I'm going to keep three promises
i told to you
one would be to look at the stars
i just hope even as friends
you will take me in your arms
the second is even better
i promised you a love forever
the third will mean so much to me
i will get down on my knee
it will be in my blues

might i cant give that to you
but if you search your whole life
and cant find happiness
the one place you can look will be in your past
you did what you did to get where you are
but might you traveled to far
all I'm asking for is a piece of your heart
you are strong and here we depart
one day you might come find me
if i don't come find you first
ask for the one thing i have of yours
just that little piece of heart
you might come back
and have something to say
but until then ill keep it locked away
in the unbreakable safe
only one thing has the key
and that is your love for me
you must unlock your whole heart
and let me see what is so true
