Poor person

A poor person grows colder

a poor person grows darker

a poor person grows sadder

this poor person grows more and more depressed everyday for her sad life

but then one day she end's her pain with a single blade.

i wrote this poem for a friend for mine she was a cutter but now she is not and she never told anyone about how sad and depressed she was and felt so cold and
dark because she though no one love her or even
cared anymore but now she is seeking help,

    Nicely written, short and touching. As the other author said, poverty is not measured by the amount of money you have. Each and everyone is rich in some way, you just have to listen to that inner voice in you, our bodies might be weak but our strength lies in our minds. Great poem.

    You dont have to be poor in money to be like this christy !

    a poor person is a person poor in love adn care , poor in heart, ....

    ending the life i can understand , been there before but then again... i could not do it!!

    cold times, are unforgetable , alone in the shell , nothing is warm .

    It's short, it's powerful, it's awesome! I really love poetry like this were the author manages to sum up all her feelings in just a few phrases which is really hard to do.
