To love a Goddess

by Fahd A AlSaleh   Apr 21, 2009

I thought that they didn't exist
that it was only a myth
but she is real and
there's nothing to compare it with

a goddess in every way
pure heart, pure soul
pure eyes, pure smile
just purity in its whole

but those pure eyes look right through me
as if i wasn't there
unidentified, unrecognized
filled with despair

each heart beat
doubles my pain
nothing i can do
invisible I'll remain

i try not to show it
but a broken soul is hard to fake
and to love a goddess
is my biggest mistake

This is a very sad yet beautiful write, youv'e worded this piece very well =] The flow is also consistant and the structure suits the poem perfectly.
