Verse 1: What will I do now that you're gone?
It's like my life was taken away,
And I can't get it back,
Can't get it back.
Verse 2: When you walked out that door,
I saw your anger,
I felt your pain,
Now I need you more than anything.
Chorus: You're gone for good,
No turning back,
What had I done wrong?
I only said a few words,
Before you were gone,
I need you forever and ever.
Verse 3: Now you're off in the growing world,
Dealing with problems everyday,
Where did you go,
Where are you?
Chorus: You're gone for good,
No turning back,
What had I done wrong?
I only said a few words,
Before you were gone,
I need you forever and ever.

Okay, so this was my very first song that I wrote in sixth grade, on a field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. What truly started my writing was songs, I wrote them before I ever started writing poetry. I wrote three or four songs then and finally I started getting into writing poems. But in sixth grade I was extremely into making up songs, as I still do to this day. So this song really started my whole writing interest. Thank you for reading, I know this isn't the greatest, and I didn't want to change anything, since this meant so much to me and was straight from my heart.
