My Dusk And Summer Girl

by Confined   Apr 23, 2009

So long my ice queen,
Hello my may flower.
The nights cold grip still holds me,
But your the one Im after.

I dont want to go back to where I belong;
Its time I broke this habbit
And sent this bottled message,
Praying that you'll get it.
Send me a rescue,
I'll drop a line and fish you out.

I wish Id never dreamt at all,
Cause these expeditions make me weary.
I sleep outside listening to your whispers,
Wakeing as I do, breaking a sweat.
So close.

I'm not leaving this for fates dice
And these cards Im told are useless,
Biding my time for a better hand.
I'll wait for my moment.

Aw, this was really bitter sweet. I could get the "unrequited love" vibe, hence the bitterness. I loved it!
This line kind of cracked me up.

"I sleep outside listening to your whispers,
Wakeing as I do, breaking a sweat.
    So close."

Kinda stalkerish, but still amazing. ^_^
    Awesome job! 5/5
