Anything You Choose

You walked across the stage,
you smiled with tears in your eyes,
you received your diploma,
which was no surprise.

Since day one,
we all knew what you would become,
that you could do anything you choose,
and then some.

We've been close all these years,
its hard for me to see you leave,
but I realize you must fulfill your dreams,
that I know you will achieve.

You could be a lawyer or a doctor,
whatever you choose to do,
just stay that same at heart,
and you will make it through.

Life won't always be easy,
but I know you will be fine,
you are beautiful inside and out,
so in my eyes, you will always shine.

If you ever need to talk,
I will be there,
a shoulder to lean on,
and to even shed a tear.

You have taught me so much,
through all the strife.
I cant imagine being without you,
for you, I would risk my own life.

I will always look up to you,
and give you the support you need,
because I know in the long run,
you will continue to succeed.

Looking back on the years,
no one has affected me quite like you,
it hasn't always been pleasant,
but we've made it through.

My big sister,
who I will miss so much,
you'll never know what you mean to me,
you mean more then anyone could ever touch.
