Imperfect predilection

by Leah20   Apr 24, 2009

Staring at a blank page,
a blank slate, tabula rasa.
But don't you see.
It's not blank at all
It has lines, red and blue
It has holes and cracks
It's not perfect
It was never meant to be
but it's still beautiful
And when you fill it up with all
that you want to say
It's still the same.

You know I honestly feel that I know where you are coming from and though I must admit I have no certifiable expert qualifications as to literary value I know what I like. and I like this format.
