Anything (Jesse! Read me!)

by StandStill   Apr 24, 2009

You promised me a diamond
and you promised me the rain.
You promised me those kinds of dreams
that take away the pain.

And you hug me through the phone
and maybe I'm alright.
Maybe when I close my eyes
I feel you at my side.

I wanna be a hero,
I wanna be a star.
I wanna be a something
anywhere you are.

You promised me a promise
and it's too damn big for words,
but dying's just a dream
when you know that your prayers are heard.

If I promise you a diamond
and I promise you the rain
could you be my best friend
and love me to forever, back again?

If I promised you your everythings
and I broke past all your walls
could you by my somebody,
the one that I would call?

Oh, could I be your anything..
I'd be your anything at all...

If we gave each other diamonds
and we made it rain all day,
d'you think that you could love me
and take bad dreams away?

You could be my anything,
anything at all.

I love this its beautiful but i think you shouldnt promise a promise thats already been made for you if he dont promise his love then its not a promise that dosent mean anything a dimond is just a hard, cold, and shiny rock that every one sees but love is a soft warm promise that no one realy see's or feels they think they do but most dont
