Another Day

by VickieG   Jun 12, 2004

Birds chirp in the morning light
As the day brings on new life
The sun warms the land
As the waves lap the sand
The wind blows by
As I gaze into the sky
A lady bug lands on my knee
A nearby child stares with glee
a smile at her and remember when
Such an innocent child I once had been

Please rate and comment it would mean a lot to me!

Another great one. All your poems are awesome, but the endings are so groovy! You're extremely talented. Never stop writing.
