Time frozen - one breath held,
A once blue sky - now gentle teal,
Uneasy memories - quickly quelled,
This moment - my heart will heal,

Unfrozen - our time is running out,
Will this moment change our fate?
One second - my mind full of doubt,
This was once a simple date,

Time ticks - how long will I last?
My body is shaking more than ever,
The whole world is out of contrast,
At one point this would be clever,

Soft - a sensation I've never known,
Warm - heat is changing our pace,
