Pale white skin the color of snow, long dark hair falling gently over her shoulders
Tears stream down her pretty cheeks
Blood tickles down her delicate wrists
She's thinking of him again, each thought more painful than the first
Why does she always want what she can't have
Why does she still love him, why cant she let him go
Tear after salty tear, trying to drown her sorrow
Slice after slice from the razor blade, trying to forget him
Standing in front of the mirror, she puts the knife against her throat
She can imagine the pain, but it feels like heaven to her
Get it over with, she thinks, then she can truly forget him
Guys tell her she is beautiful
It makes her hate herself even more
She hates the way they look at her with only one thought in mind
She hates how she always proves them right by giving in
If only she were stronger, not so weak, torn and destroyed
Then maybe she wouldn't have to do these things to soothe her fracture heart
Without him, she can see no reason to continue life, though he tormented her so
He is the only one who can mend her broken heart and fill her empty soul
But they will never be together, she understands she was only being used
She stares at his picture wondering if he will even care
Will he cry like she has done so many times before
or will he be proud, knowing he had that much control over her
Like a beautiful butterfly, he caught her and rubbed the powder off her wings
She cannot fly anymore, she is falling apart, slowly dying
She looks at his picture one last time.
She wishes she could kiss him and have his hand to hold
But every I Love You was just another lie, another lie to get what he wanted from her
What every other guy wanted as well
She smashes her fist into the mirror, hating her reflection.
Even through the blood and tears, she is still beautiful
The blood pours from her knuckles
She makes no effort to stop it
It comforts her, she is finally in control
If only he could see her, see all the pain he's caused
She cannot bear all the memories, all the things she cant forget
How time and time again, she always gave him what he wanted
How he ignored her when she was down, never tried to make her smile
She deserved better than him but in her twisted reality
She did not relize this
He played her love for him, like it was just a game
Making her cry and beg him to forgive her
Then after he would kiss her and it would all seem okay
Even though it really wasn't
He bragged to all his friends, told them how he'd scored
She was frightened and scared, she thought he would protect her
If only she has known the only protecting she would need was from him
He used her like a toy, for his own personal pleasure
Yet she still loved him
And now as she draws the knife slowly across her neck
She knows she will always love him with the greatest of hatred
Bleeding on the bathroom floor, she begins to close her eyes
All alone, this is the quiet before the storm
In a pool of her own blood, her dark hair seems even darker
Her pale skin seems even paler.
Her lips are as crimson as the blood that has been spilled.
Even in death she is as radiant as a rose before winter's first frost.
the rain splashes down the window, lightening fills the sky
Goodbye Snow White....
