Our Mind is a Circus

by Indian Comma Bean   Apr 27, 2009

This world is a circus.
Everyday a carousel of emotion,
A place where tears learn to walk,
In the mud our minds frolic.

Inspiration cries a rainbow,
Tainted by the blood of imagination.
Destiny is called in the night,
Fate has had a heart attack.

We clowns have dressed in black,
As the rain has turned our masks to shadows,
The blind man juggles the stars in ignorance,
One last day of misery pursues the carnival.
