Happiness

by IFollowMitchell   Apr 27, 2009

If you can overlook all that's wrong with you,
Or distract yourself from all depressing,
Eliminate the negative
People or situations;
If you can move on from the things that make you lost in distress,
And find a more content you within yourself;
If you can laugh more,
And cry less

If you can pack away but not lose the bad memories,
For they may help you through bumps in your life;
And shed few tears for those lost;
If you can ignore those who speak better of themselves more willingly than you,
And all who suggest your cruel;
If you can swallow all of your sudden pride,
For not one favors a boaster
Your world filled with sorrow...
You can destroy
In this you will find happiness.
