Pyrophobia (the fear of fire)

by xXHunnyGurlXx   Apr 28, 2009

The heat, the smoke,
All the lives it takes,
This fiery demon,
A burning spiral snake,
It runs through the trees,
With nothing in its way,
It sizzles and cracks,
As it takes down its prey,
Choppers & trucks,
They try their best,
Only to leave this demon,
To set lives at rest..

    I like this poem alot
the last line really spoke to me
    'to set lives at rest'
found that line was pretty deep
that the fire does more then kills them it brings them to somewhere peaceful serene
i dont know but i really love this poem
    good job
