POEM ABHORENCE

I hate my poems, they remind me of you
Those rhyming words that speaks so true
That you turned your back when I reached for thee
Then had her as a replacement of me

I hate my poems, they remind of your smile
And how it can diminish my worstest bile
In a flash of light it brings me enchantment
But you gave it to her and brought me torment

I hate my poems; they remind me of my desires
Just having you next to me, I'm burning like fire
Wanting me too, I thought you had in your mind
However to her you whispered, "Please be mine"

I hate my poems; they remind me how I loved you
For it was all in the past, now what could I do?
For the boy and the best friend that once ruled my earth
A little thing called "pain", to it you both gave birth

I hate my poems; they remind me of my revulsion
There's nothing I'm yearning for to do but retribution
Come both of you, I want to slap you in the face
For I cannot rebuild my life that you destroyed into waste
