Slowly disappearing
As candles by a breath,
The stars of evening
Leave the morning sky.

The moon chased by the sun
Slides slowly to the west.
A new day has begun
Yesterday but a memory.

I haven't read your work in quite a bit, this was a joy to come upon!

    "Slowly disappearing
    As candles by a breath,
    The stars of evening
    Leave the morning sky."

Excellent opening, the imagery and descriptions grabbed the reader and pulled them into the scene. Your wording is deep but simple, they flow together beautifully.

"The moon chased by the sun
    Slides slowly to the west.
    A new day has begun
    Yesterday but a memory. "

I love how you say the first line, it really is such a creative quote that has such vivid images for the reader to think upon. Great ending, its so pleasent and refreshing to read your work again. I honestly found no errors in my eye, this was a short but interesting read that kept the reader entranced and into it.

Nice work, keep writing, always and forever....
