On A Whim.

by Steven Beesley   May 1, 2009

You acted on a whim,
to turn your back
upon me and without
thought cast me out.

It shows that you have no
thoughts or concerns
for the feelings of
those you cast out.

Thoughtless, reckless
and now just plain cold
quiet loneliness.

But you failed to see
that you have cast out
many others like me and
we are now together and strong
for you have only segregated yourself!

Whatever you dare accuse me of I will reiterate again it is purely that of an over vivid imagination. The poem was written about a lost friendship and nothing to do with attacks on clubs or people and no matter how many times you choose to delete this comment it will reappear as it is the truth and you cannot silence me from speaking .

You have a right to speak and so do I.

Sluvious, I do not know what has come across you? If you think that this poem has anything to do with P & Q then you are so wrong because ity has nothing to do with clubs and it was witten about something else .

Please do not flatter yourself in such a manner as it does not suit you, and being spiteful like you have been with such uncalled for comments shows your true colors. As for emails, did not receive any!!

You read to much between the lines of poems and always think that it is about you!. But sorry mate, your are not the center of the known universe and the world does not revolve around you. So please stop, think and act your age before launching attacks on others.

It's sad sometimes that people have to go through such hurt. Your write shows that and when the hurt and discarded band together they will stand tall.

It does hurt when a friend turns their back on you but if that is the case, they were not a true friend to begin with. Well done.

    Steve
It hurts when someone you care about and thought was your friend turns out to be someone you didn't even know.

    You acted on a whim,
    to turn your back
    upon me and without
    thought cast me out.

People like this end up being old, and alone.
    Great job on this poem.
